I am having one hell of a time ascending. This is because I am a healbot -- Mo/Me. I can help people damn fine, but a bow that takes away about 1/8th of my health / shot is BRUTAL! Anyone have any tips for me? Yes, I have respecced into Dom Magic, but should I consider temp dropping the points in Divine Favor for stuff in Illusion Magic to burn the bow attack?

hmm is the weapons based on your weapon?

if so, lose the bow and maybe you can ascend? you have to kill yourself to ascend?! that doesn't sound right... you're lvl 20, and that means you're a ascended char already...

I'm having this exact same problem! Except I'm mo/n so I'm doubly screwed. I'm thinking about dropping it for mesmer... A mo/me friend of mine got the thing down to 10% by forcing him to buff with pacifism and then throwing backfire on him, have you tried that yet?

Ok, care to elaborate on mo/n? Is there something I'm missing? No corpses to exploit, so no minions or well of blood or suffering, and he can just lifetap me right back for what I lifetapped him. What would you suggest?

Me as a Mo/N i died like 30 times:P
i am full heal/divine

beat it by equiping all my necro spells which req health sacrifice, no heal, xcept breeze

and even like this i still died 30 times

For any necro - just put in the most crappy sacrifice spells - and dont use them yourself. The mirror has better max-health than "Blood Magic"-attribute so it loses on most of them.

And it is not smart enough not to sacrifice itself to death if you help a little with your weapon.

Perhaps this should be bugged?

OK -- I did it as a Mo/ME.

I respecced into Domination Magic and Smiting Prayers.

Then I loaded up 5 Hexes that don't cause damage or interfere with spell casting.

I put on smite hex and shatter hex. I also put on Aegis.

Then I walked up to him, let him hex me, broke hexes and killed him. It's opened my eyes as to the power of a mez. They are INSANE!

i did it with a healing monk, but i had to loose all my healing skills and put up retribution and mending, i did notice that the mirror doesnt use these kinds of enchants that have - regain on them.

and as for regular skills, this was the only one i equipped, but i didnt use it, the mirror did lol.

For 5-29 seconds, target foe suffers Energy deregeneration of 2 you suffer Health deregeneration of 2. Malaise ends if target foe's Energy reaches 0.
Hex - 5 energy - 2 cast - 2 recharge
